Cowichan Valley Essential Health & Wellness is a sacred space for healing located in Cobble Hill, B.C. Nickie trained in aromatherapy and stress-management in 1992 in England. She knows that dis-ease is often the underlying cause of disease which is why she encourages holistic therapy modalities to ease stress, reduce tension and encourage harmonious energy alignment within the human system. Nickie is a Registered Aromatherapist, Usui Reiki Master, and a member of the International Institute of Health & Holistic Therapies.

Nickie offers both off-the-shelf and custom-made therapeutic blends of essential oils to alleviate many ailments including insomnia, headaches, stress, anxiety, and to support her hands-on treatments and counselling. In 2020, Nickie introduced The Goddess Range – a high quality aromatherapy product line inspired by the Greek & Egyptian Goddesses designed to connect you to universal wisdom and empowerment. These products embrace the Divine Feminine of gentleness, compassion & love while evoking Divine Masculine qualities of strength, boldness and fortitude. The Goddess invites you to love and nurture your highest health and optimal self.

“Hello, I am Nickie and I live in the Cowichan Valley after emigrating from England in 2004.

After witnessing results in others as well as personally experiencing benefits of holistic therapies, I trained at the Purple Flame School of Aromatherapy in the Art & Understanding of Aromatherapy. Deep relaxation, in-depth study of the Use and Blending of essential oils, Advanced Anatomy & Physiology, Eastern medicine philosophy, guidance in spiritual and energy work, understanding the effects of trauma and cellular memory in the manifestation of chronic disease, all formed a major part of the studies. I later trained in Indian Head massage, Reflexology and Reiki.

I have a passion for essential oils and work intuitively, connecting with their spiritual essence when creating blends for my clients. I have seen how essential oils can connect with human emotion and shift previous hurt and pain.

As a mother of two now-grown daughters, I understand the emotional ups and downs of parenting and can help you to care for yourself and stay more balanced and grounded when the going gets tough or you need time our for self-care.

Having worked in financial services for a number of years while also raising a child with a chronic illness, I have experienced the fine balance and connection between health & wealth and the impact each has in the absence of the other. I can offer practical support and understanding to help you navigate your emotions in these areas.
