Little Adventurers is a small business located in Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island. Specializing in creating colourable scavenger hunt Adventure Books for kids, their aim is to spark the imaginations of young explorers, empowering children to embrace the wonders of the world while nurturing their sense of curiosity and discovery. With a focus on fostering a love for adventure and creativity, Little Adventurers also offers a selection of Vancouver Island-inspired apparel, including hoodies, t-shirts, and tote bags perfect for packing the essentials on your next Vancouver Island adventure.

A great local guidebook for both Vancouver Island visitors and locals alike, Little Adventures currently has 3 editions for different areas of Central Vancouver Island – Qualicum Beach, Parksville, and Nanoose, with a Nanaimo edition coming out soon (April 27th, 2024)!

Ashley Kuramoto is passionate about sharing her love for the outdoors with others. She is a local teacher in the Qualicum School District who specializes in Outdoor Education and play-based learning. She is set to graduate with her Master’s from Queens University this Spring after completing research in Outdoor Education and creating her Little Adventurers on Vancouver Island Series. She wanted her books to mean more than just getting outside and going on adventures. She wanted her readers to understand the impact we have on our outdoor spaces to to respect them. Her first year since publishing her first edition she sold over 1400 copies, donated over $8000 to local charities and is currently working on her 4th edition, the Nanaimo book, set to launch Spring 2024.
