Glennys from Doodlebaby Gifts has been sewing since she was nine. During a 45 year Nursing career, she sewed for her children when she had time. Once her grandchildren started to arrive, she began to sew crib sheets, change pads, curtains, blankets, etc.
As friends of her daughter and daughter-in-law’s saw the things she had created for her grandchildren, they were phoning with requests for similar items. Soon her passion took on a life of its own, and she began including many custom sewn items.
She believes that all the babies deserve the same warmth. coziness, and modern amenities, so she has made it her mission to please the moms, grammas and friends with her ideas. She loves to create new from scratch, working out how a new mom’s idea can become a reality.
Today, her regular items continue to be handmade Weighted Blankets, Crib Sheets (fitted), any age Bed Pads, Infant Change Pads, Grab n’ Go Travel Change Packs, Flannel reusable wipes, Burp cloths, Bibs, as well as Sleepsacks. A very special keepsake that she also creates are Memory Bears, made with the clothing of your loved one. Everything can be custom made to order, including differently sized weighted blankets depending on your needs.
