At Cure Soaps, we create natural, gentle (and beautiful!) ways to cleanse and hydrate your skin.
We are passionate about the all-natural products we produce – all handmade on Vancouver Island. From our soaps to body butters, serums to bath soaks, and everything in between, none of them contain preservatives, synthetic fragrances or colours.
We believe that what doesn’t go into our skincare products is just as important as what does. Cure Soaps are created in Nanaimo, B.C. Canada on Vancouver Island.
About the Maker
“Hi, I’m Alison & I live and create in Nanaimo, BC. I’m originally from the Okanagan, but Vancouver Island has been home for 16 years and it’s where I’m meant to be. I’m fortunate to be able to hike and snowboard in the mountains and also have my favourite writing spot at the ocean, all within easy reach.
I studied communications and photo journalism in university and have worked in marketing and photography in some capacity ever since. In early 2023, I left a soul-sucking corporate job and from that moment on I committed to only saying yes to what gets me fast-talking and enthusiastically over-sharing.
So, here I am: creating beautiful handmade products that make a difference in people’s lives.“
