Lindsay Ford is a Vancouver Island author and illustrator of Bread + Clutter Books: A revolutionary children’s book series changing the way we think of the world, and the people in it.
The Awkward + Awesome children’s book series celebrates real people with their uniquely amazing stories. Stories of unsuspecting, unlikely heroes who manage to change the world we live in just by being themselves and owning their differences.
Each book is made with the hopes of starting the conversation about mental health. Each story speaks to a world where it’s okay to be weird and wonderful.
Lindsay is also a talented Vancouver Island painter, creating works of art that are eye catching but also a little bit “different”.
